  • Where can I park?

    It is best to park for free in the large car park on Antoon Koolenlaan (click here).

    From here you can walk through the beautiful Genneperpark to the meeting point in about 15 minutes.

  • Where is the meeting point?

    The meeting point is at the canoe passage at the Dommel Bridge, opposite the Gennepermolen.

  • From what age can you canoe?

    Canoeing is possible once you can sit upright independently for approximately 2 hours; there is no specific age limit for this.

    Each group must be accompanied by someone at least 18 years of age.

  • Are life jackets included?

    A life jacket is mandatory for participants without a swimming certificate.

    Not feeling completely confident without a life jacket? No problem, we offer one for free.

  • How many people fit in one canoe?

    A canoe is suitable for:

    – 2 adults and 1 child, or

    – 3 young people

    The maximum weight per canoe is approximately 180 kg.

    Each canoe comes with 2 paddles.

  • What should I bring?

    On hot and sunny days we recommend bringing sunscreen and mosquito spray.

    If necessary, take something to drink with you for the journey and make sure you take all your rubbish with you.

  • Where can I store things that shouldn't get wet?

    We offer free barrels

    These are large enough for, for example, two telephones, two sets of keys and two watches.

  • Can I bring my dog in the canoe?

    Yes, dogs are welcome as long as they can swim.

    In that case, our advice is to go with a maximum of two people in one canoe.

  • Can I take food and drinks in the canoe?

    Sure, feel free to bring food and drinks.

    Please note that you must take all your waste with you.

    Alcohol and drugs are not allowed in the canoe.

  • Do you also offer company or group outings?

    Yes, we receive groups of up to 30 people, in order to maintain peace on and around the water.

    It is also possible to arrange a barbecue through us – please ask about the options!

  • How can I cancel or change my reservation?

    This can be done by email or telephone.

    Cancel or change your reservation at least 48 hours in advance (for groups of 10 people a period of 5 working days applies).

    In case of bad weather you can rebook free of charge.
